The Royal Caroline
This ship had been designed as a Royal Yacht and was launched at Deptford in 1749. The ship was mentioned in The Architectura Navalis Mercatoria (by Chapman) since it was a very fine contruction. In 1761 the ship was renamed to Royal Charlotte. It still provided his service for the English royal house until 1805. In the year 1820, the ship was finally deleted from the register.
